Toronto Film Week returned last week with a diverse lineup of indie films. Festival host and manager, Maarten Cornelis, expressed great satisfaction with the 2024 edition: "What an extraordinary array of films graced the screens during the 2024 Toronto Film Week! Our audience was captivated by the compelling narratives showcased over the course of five days. Despite facing rain, snow, and wind, our audience remained steadfast in their attendance, and for that, we are immensely grateful."
Selected from nearly 1500 entries, this year's official selection featured 36 films from around the world. Toronto Film Week is delighted to announce the jury results for the 2024 awards today:
